Science and technology combined
4 academic partnerships. Multiple peer reviewed studies. An active R&D program and data science team. QWIKFIT takes academic research on HIIT to the next level.
HOW DOES QWIKFIT WORK?
INTENSE WORKOUT:
Step 1 – Warm up 2 minutes. Slow pedalling to get you ready for the sprints.
Step 2 – Sprint 20 seconds. Your glycogen will be gone within 10-15 seconds of your first sprint and molecules that signal other changes are released
Step 3 – Recovery 3 minutes. Recovery is essential so you can have a good second sprint.
Step 4 – Sprint 20 seconds. The molecules released in the first sprint now get activated causing a cascade of changes that lead to a more fit, lean, heathy you.
Step 5 – Cool Down 3 minutes. After the hard work, these three minutes bring your blood pressure down and bring you “back to normal”. QWIKFIT has mindfulness breathing guides to help you de-stress and get back to whatever you were doing in minutes.
Quality over quantity
Your body uses salt to balance fluids in the blood and maintain healthy blood pressure, and it is also essential for nerve and muscle function.
QWIKFIT utilizes science, technology, and artificial intelligence to get you the best results in the least amount of time. The dream scenario for a busy lifestyle.Based on the scientifically proven benefits of REHIT (Reduced Exertion High Intensity Training) and rapid glycogen depletion, QWIKFIT automatically applies the optimal resistance at the right speed at the right time for your fitness level. As a result, the maximum intensity levels during a QWIKFIT sprint are about three times higher than in HIIT spin classes, and it delivers greater health and fitness benefits in a fraction of the time compared to conventional exercise.
What is REHIT?
In short, REHIT is the difference between maximum intensity training and high intensity training. It’s based on the principal that fewer and shorter bursts at maximum intensity produce results more efficiently, using two 20 second all-out bursts designed to quickly empty the glycogen stores in your thigh muscles. Hence the name Reduced Exertion High Intensity Training, as your exertion is less than in traditional HIIT sessions.
Previously, the REHIT effect was only achievable in laboratory conditions. Now, thanks to QWIKFIT, you can experience the benefits in your own home.
